Replacement for MX321 Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)

Product Description

The MX321 features several trimmers (potentiometers) to fine-tune the generator’s behavior:

  • VOLTS: Adjusts the main generator output voltage.

  • STABILITY: Prevents “hunting” or voltage fluctuations by adjusting the damping effect.

  • UFRO (Under-Frequency Roll Off): Sets the “knee point” where the voltage begins to drop if the engine slows down, protecting the exciter.

  • DROOP: Used for parallel operation to ensure the generator shares the reactive load correctly.

  • I LIMIT: Sets the maximum stator current limit (if using a Current Transformer).

  • OVER V / EXC: Sets the trip levels for over-voltage and over-excitation protection to prevent damage to the generator.

  • RAMP: Adjusts the “soft start” time for the voltage to build up upon startup.
